Simplify to Flourish

We are wrapping up April's Financial Wellness with an exercise to help you simplify in order to flourish! You can get started by focusing just 5 minutes on each of the various aspects of your financial wheelhouse.

If you are a visual person - like me - think of trial exhibits. Take a blank piece of paper and draw a circle in the middle. Then draw pie lines and label each pie piece for your financial wheelhouse. For example: Insurance; Investments; Bank Accounts; Family; Travel; Fun; Professional Development (see image).

Look at each slice or choose the one that is the most pressing at this moment.

Brainstorm opportunities to simplify this slice: get account information in order; consolidate banks, accounts, advisors; plan vacations ahead, rather than waiting until the last minute; schedule time for family fun and activities. What opportunities can you come up with?

Your family will love you for doing this exercise and even more if you include them in the process. Plus, you'll feel better too!

Reach out to me if you need help getting started or someone to encourage you.
